The United States ASR Settlement program was established in November, 2013 and allows qualified eligible claimants to a base award of $250,000.00 if they had a recalled ASR hip implanted and removed before August 31, 2013. The deadline for enrollment was originally April 1, but has recently been extended to September 30. In order to successfully enroll, certain documents are required and medical records to substantiate a claim. In many cases, a lawsuit must be filed quickly to avoid missing additional deadlines. If you have not been revised yet, not to worry, there is still time to present those claims as well.
